My mom posted "yay you're a woman now" on a big sign in front of our house when I got my period.



Today I ran into my screen door and broke my nose.



I met the most perfect guy on my birthday, as i was looking for gummy bears... Now, 3 years later, it's my birthday. I'm holding a necklace with a bear on it that he gave me last year, a day before he died...



Today i went shopping with my grandmother. It was all good, until she saw a black family and started apologizing for slavery.



Yesterday, i got fired for dating a co-worker. There's no policy forbidding it, my boss just thought it was unfair that I could get with the "hottest girl who works here" but he can't.
